Why a Steam Humidifier?
A Steam Humidifier is the most pure and natural form of residential humidification that can be produced for whole home comfort. In the Old Days, we used to put a pot of water on the stove and boil it, or put an open container of water next to the radiator heat source. Today, EWC has made humidification efficient and automatic. US Air Contractors Heating & Air Conditioning is proud to feature this humidification product to all our customers.
Water vapor, or steam, that is produced from our Steam Humidifier is entered directly into your air source from our unit. 100% of the steam produced is used to humidify your home. Our units do not waste any of the Btu’s needed to create a comfortable living environment. Steam is the fastest and most efficient method of increasing and maintaining an acceptable, comfortable level of humidity in any home.
Steam Humidifier ensure that your entire home has just the right amount of moisture for the ultimate in comfort. Our automatic humidistat adjusts the indoor Relative humidity (Rh) to the proper levels based on the outdoor temperature. As the outdoor temperature changes the amount of moisture the air can hold changes. EWC’s humidifier make this ever-changing adjustment automatically in real-time precision. Model S2000 will handle a whole house with area up to 2400 sq. ft. and the S2020 will handle a whole house area of up to 3200 sq. ft.
Whole house Steam Humidifier also helps prevent premature aging of your home’s furnishings, wood work, and structure. The lack of moisture or Relative Humidity in a home will dry out any wood based flooring or furniture and lead to cracking and damage of the wood. Our Steam Humidifier will maintain an Relative Humidity level that can preserve these items while also providing optimum comfort.
Most homes today maintain an average humidity level of below 15% Relative Humidity. In comparison, the Sahara desert has an Relative Humidity level of 10%. EWC Controls Steam Humidifiers will maintain a level of 55% Relative Humidity in any home or dwelling. The American Society of Heating, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) recommends all homes maintain a level of humidity between 40% and 60% Relative Humidity. Only a Steam Humidifier can maintain these acceptable levels.
