We heat or cool our homes to keep our family comfortable. But, a single thermostat in the living room can’t always keep the upstairs cool or the basement warm. Fact is, you may feel a 12 to 15 degree difference in comfort levels within your own home if you do not incorporate comfort zoning. US Air Contractors Heating & Air Conditioning has been providing Comfort Zoning solutions to its customers for over 35 years.
What is Comfort Zoning?
Comfort Zoning is the creation of distinct living areas in which the temperature is controlled precisely by its own thermostat.
How does Comfort Zoning work?
In most homes you will find only one thermostat controlling the comfort levels for the entire house. This thermostat is usually located in a hallway and will keep the hallway at the temperature you set while other areas of the home range from too hot to too cold. Comfort Zoning allows a thermostat in each room (or zone) for individual temperature control.
