Germicidal Air Purifier, Allergy Air Purifier

Indoor Air Filters and Air Purifiers are a wonderful invention. The best ones (such as the TheraPure) take the air in a room and remove up to 99% of the airborne particulates down to 2 microns (dust, cigarette and cigar smoke, mold spores, pollen, vehicle exhaust from outside, cooking and bathroom odors, pet dander, etc.) in the air, releasing clean, healthy, breathable air in its place. Many of the best ones (including the TheraPure) also act as a Germicidal Air Purifier. A Germicidal Air Purifier typically contains a UV lamp that kills germs and bacteria upon contact as air moves through the unit and is released back into the room. A Germicidal Air Purifier can be useful in reducing the spread of colds and other common communicable illnesses. (Of course, no Germicidal Air Purifier can guarantee that you’ll never, ever get another cold! That would be impossible.)
By their very nature, most Indoor Air Filters act as an Air Purifier that removes allergens. An Air Purifier for allergens removes up to 99 percent of the airborne particulates found in every room, everywhere, that can trigger allergy symptoms. These include pollen, dust and dust mites, mold spores, pet dander, and tobacco smoke. An Air Purifier for Allergens also removes things in the air that are not necessarily associated with allergies per se, but which are nonetheless harmful to inhale, particularly on an ongoing basis. Examples include vehicle exhaust and industrial air pollution, cooking odors, even smoke and soot from forest fires hundreds of miles upwind from you.
By now, you’ve probably noticed that most retailers currently offer an almost dizzying array of indoor Air Filters on their shelves. It’s as if indoor Air Filters have become the latest fad. However, considering the health benefits that indoor Air Filters can offer, they really deserve better than “fad” status. They deserve a place in your home and office. Take the TheraPure®, for example. TheraPure actually features a Triple Action Purification Process. The process begins with the permanent HEPA-type filter, which removes both allergens and pollutants. Next the UV lamp kills bacteria and germs on contact. The third stage belongs to the Photocatalyst filter, which removes Volatile Organic Compounds such as household chemicals like toxic paint, chemical emissions from carpet and other fibers, and indoor air pollution. This Triple Action Purification Process provides maximum protection and instant clean and breathable air. And since rooms come in all sizes, TheraPure doesn’t take a one-size-fits-all approach. TheraPure is available in four different sizes, for small, medium, and large rooms, and even confined spaces like closets. And it’s priced affordably enough to get one for all of those spaces!
Germicidal / UV Lights
UV Lights are devices that produce artificial sunlight or ultraviolet light to kill mold spores and bacteria in your Heating and Air Conditioning System.
There are two different basic types of UV Light Systems, one for killing air borne mold and bacteria in the air stream of your HVAC System and one for killing mold in the condensate drain pan and the fin surface area of the Cooling Coil.
